China Petroleum Pipeline Engineering Company Ltd (CPP) is offering four exceptional career opportunities as part of the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) project. This 1,443-kilometer-long transnational pipeline will transport crude oil from Uganda’s Lake Albert region to Tanga Port in Tanzania. This crucial infrastructure initiative aims to enhance energy access and economic development across the region.

About the EACOP Project

The EACOP pipeline system comprises three key components:

• Above Ground Installations (AGIs): Includes six pumping stations (PS-1 to PS-6) and two pressure-reducing stations (PRS-1 and PRS-2).

• Pipeline Network: A 1,443-kilometer-long, 24-inch heated export pipeline, connecting the Kabaale hub pumping station (PS-1) in Uganda to storage facilities in the Tanga region, Tanzania. The pipeline also integrates intermediate valve chambers, electric heat tracing (EHT) systems, high-voltage (HV) distribution, fiber optic (FO) cables, and an EHT substation.

• Marine Storage Terminal (MST): Offshore facilities supporting oil export operations.

As the primary contractor, CPP is responsible for constructing the 1,443 km, 24-inch oil export pipeline, eight above-ground facilities, main line block valves, trace heating stations, and 16 main camps and pipe yards (four in Uganda and twelve in Tanzania). We are actively seeking dedicated professionals to be part of this transformative project.
