As a healthcare social enterprise, CCBRT works through various development programs to support the community, especially the most vulnerable populations. The organization is committed to preventing lifelong disabilities wherever possible and runs extensive maternal and newborn healthcare (MNHC) programs, including obstetric fistula repairs. Since 2005, CCBRT has been offering both community and center-based rehabilitation services through the "House of Hope" in Moshi, promoting inclusive healthcare development at all levels.

To enhance its mission, CCBRT is seeking a Medical Attendant to support its clinical team at the rehabilitation center in Moshi.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Medical Attendant at CCBRT Moshi, you will play a crucial role in assisting healthcare providers and ensuring seamless operations in the clinical environment. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing the clinical work area and ensuring all necessary tools and equipment are available and in good condition.

• Assisting with the transportation of patients, medical equipment, and supplies across different units to improve patient flow.

• Providing health education to clients and their guardians.

• Managing visiting hours and coordinating with client relatives to ensure patient safety and well-being.

Candidate Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Possession of a Form 4 certificate with at least one year of basic nursing training or a certificate in social welfare from a recognized government institution.

• A minimum of one year of relevant work experience in a healthcare setting.

• Strong flexibility and multitasking abilities to handle various responsibilities efficiently.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Swahili.

• A proactive attitude with a strong eagerness to work and support patient care.

• Basic computer skills are an added advantage.
