Job Overview

Kilombero Sugar Company Limited is offering 68 job opportunities for qualified candidates to operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including electric Aisle Masters and Electric Forklifts. Successful candidates will be responsible for efficient equipment operation while maintaining company safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-shift inspections of Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and submit reports to the Supervisor.
• Clean and maintain MHE and charging areas during shifts.
• Record odometer readings at the start and end of each shift, ensuring timely servicing.
• Recharge MHE safely and promptly, documenting fuel usage.
• Collaborate with Supervisors to determine daily tasks.
• Load and unload transportation units swiftly and safely.
• Assist with inventory redistribution, stacking, and unstacking of bins.
• Ensure valid and up-to-date Forklift/Asset Driver’s License.
• Adhere to all safety, quality, and housekeeping standards to prevent accidents and maintain product integrity.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum Education: Ordinary Certificate of Secondary Education.
• Valid Forklift Driver’s License is mandatory.
• At least one year of MHE driving experience with proven safe operational skills.
• Good communication skills with basic proficiency in reading English.
