Join CEFA’s Mission to Empower Smallholder Farmers

The European Committee for Training and Agriculture (CEFA), an esteemed Italian non-governmental organization, is seeking dedicated professionals to join its impactful initiatives in Tanzania. Since its establishment in 1975, CEFA has been at the forefront of sustainable development, driving positive change through integrated rural development projects in the Southern Highlands.

In collaboration with IDH – The Sustainable Trade Initiative, the Tea Research Institute of Tanzania (TRIT), and the Tanzania Smallholder Tea Development Agency (TSHTDA), CEFA is actively implementing the "Improving Income and Nutrition of Smallholder Tea Farmers in Southern Tanzania" project. This initiative is designed to enhance agricultural productivity, improve livelihoods, and promote food security among smallholder tea farmers.

As a key player in humanitarian aid and sustainable development, CEFA is committed to eradicating poverty and hunger while advocating for fundamental human rights, including education, healthcare, gender equality, and economic empowerment. The organization empowers local communities to take charge of their development, fostering peace and democracy through self-sufficiency and resilience.
