Position Overview
The Executive Chef will oversee all culinary operations, ensuring high-quality and innovative cuisine that aligns with our luxury hospitality standards. This role requires a dynamic leader with a passion for fine dining, menu development, and team management. The successful candidate will be responsible for all food outlets, including:

Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Management

Oversee kitchen staff scheduling, HR processes, and workflow organization.

Adapt to operational demands, managing peak service hours efficiently.

Foster a cohesive and motivated team environment.

Serve as a mentor, providing training and skill development.

Address and resolve workplace conflicts proactively.

Ensure compliance with Zanzibar’s labor laws.

Participate in recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
Culinary Innovation & Kitchen Operations

Develop and curate creative menus aligned with the resort’s vision.

Maintain high culinary standards for all food outlets.

Utilize expert cooking techniques and knowledge of global cuisines.

Innovate seasonal menu offerings in line with management directives.

Manage inventory, food cost control, and ensure cost-efficient operations.

Enforce HACCP and food safety regulations.

Implement and uphold a structured cleaning and hygiene plan.

Oversee maintenance and resource allocation for kitchen equipment.

Ensure seamless execution of culinary operations for guest satisfaction.
Guest Relations & Service Excellence

Engage with guests to understand their dining preferences.

Enhance customer loyalty through personalized culinary experiences.

Monitor and maintain high levels of guest satisfaction.

Collaborate with event planners to execute flawless dining events.

Coordinate with commercial services on menu offerings.
Ideal Candidate Profile
