Dar es Salaam, March 13, 2025 – Tabitha Siwale, the former Minister for Land and Urban Settlement Development, has passed away after being hospitalized for over two weeks at Ocean Road Hospital.

Her younger brother, Evans Wilfred Mwambenja, confirmed the news, stating that she was pronounced dead at dawn today.

Family members are currently coordinating funeral arrangements, which will take place at her residence in the Mikocheni area of Dar es Salaam. Further details regarding the burial proceedings will be shared in due course.
