DAR ES SALAAM – Airtel Tanzania has reaffirmed its dedication to fostering a gender-inclusive work environment, underscoring its commitment to employee well-being and professional support for women.
The company’s Managing Director, Mr. Charles Kamoto, highlighted this pledge during the unveiling of a new nursing room at Airtel’s Dar es Salaam headquarters. The initiative, launched in celebration of International Women’s Day 2025, aims to provide a secure and comfortable space for mothers to care for their children while at work.
“This facility sets a new benchmark in workplace inclusivity by offering a safe and supportive environment for working mothers,” Mr. Kamoto stated.
Airtel Tanzania’s Human Resources Director, Ms. Stella Kibacha, emphasized that the initiative aligns with the company’s vision of creating a progressive and empowering work environment.
“This nursing room ensures that working mothers can seamlessly balance their professional and personal responsibilities, enhancing both their well-being and productivity,” she noted.
