Airswift Tanzania Announces 9 New Job Openings for EACOP Project

Tanzania – April 1, 2025 – Airswift Tanzania has unveiled nine new employment opportunities as part of its active role in the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) project, also known locally as Bomba la Mafuta. These positions are critical to the continued development and operational success of this transformative regional infrastructure initiative.

Airswift Consulting Tanzania, a prominent player in the country’s consultancy and project delivery landscape, has been instrumental in driving major industrial and energy sector initiatives since its market entry in 2015. The company established its Dar es Salaam office in 2018 to provide closer, more efficient support to its clientele.

Currently, Airswift is deeply engaged in facilitating the EACOP project, a landmark undertaking that spans 1,443 kilometers—including 296 km across Uganda and 1,147 km in Tanzania. Designed to transport Uganda’s crude oil from Kabaale–Hoima to the marine terminal at Chongoleani Peninsula near Tanga, Tanzania, this infrastructure is set to boost regional economic growth and energy export capabilities.

The pipeline comprises a 24-inch insulated buried pipeline, six pumping stations (two in Uganda and four in Tanzania), and a marine export terminal, making it a vital link for crude oil export to the global market.

To support this expansive project, Airswift Tanzania is currently recruiting for the following roles:

These vacancies present unique opportunities for professionals to contribute to one of Africa’s most significant energy infrastructure projects, while gaining experience in a dynamic and impactful environment.
