Job Overview
Tazama Pipelines Limited, a vital interstate organization jointly owned by the United Republic of Tanzania and the Republic of Zambia, specializes in transporting petroleum products from Dar es Salaam to Ndola, Zambia. As part of its operational expansion, the company is seeking qualified professionals to fill two Plant Operator positions.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor plant machinery to ensure efficient and safe performance.
- Conduct routine checks and maintenance to prevent operational disruptions.
- Adhere to safety regulations and procedures in handling petroleum products.
- Collaborate with technical teams for troubleshooting and problem resolution.
- Maintain accurate operational records and report any equipment anomalies.
Qualifications & Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:
✔ Educational Background:
- Certificate of Secondary Education.
- FTC/Diploma in Engineering or a relevant equivalent qualification.
✔ Professional Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) years of hands-on experience in a similar role.
✔ Language Proficiency:
- Must be fluent in both English and Swahili for effective communication.
