CCM Announces Candidates for Chairmanship Vacancies in Three Regions
Dodoma, Tanzania – March 11, 2025
The Central Committee of the Chama cha Mapinduzi (CCM) National Executive Council, under the leadership of President Samia Suluhu Hassan, has finalized the selection of candidates for key vacant leadership positions within the ruling party.
The selection process, conducted in Dodoma on March 10, focused on district and regional leadership roles, ensuring that candidates were chosen in accordance with the party’s established guidelines and regulations.
In Bariadi District, three candidates have been approved to contest for the CCM Chairperson position: Malongo Masaba, Mabula Magamula, and Kitebo Kulwa.
For Liwale District, the approved candidates for the same position include Ally Jande, Abdallah Ndemane, and Salumu Titili.
Similarly, in Bagamoyo District, the candidates selected to compete for the CCM Chairperson role are Latifa Mwinjuma, Aboubakary Mlawa, and Shukuru Mbatto.
Additionally, the selection process extended to the Chairperson position of the CCM Women's Wing (UWT) in Lindi Region, where Faudhia Chiwangu, Kuruthumu Runje, and Asha Mahmoud were approved as candidates.
This development aligns with CCM's commitment to structured leadership transitions, ensuring continuity and adherence to internal democratic processes. The party maintains a rigorous selection approach to uphold governance standards and leadership integrity at all levels.
