Job Overview:
As a Reservations Agent, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to passengers by handling reservations, managing bookings, and addressing inquiries. Your ability to deliver a seamless reservation experience will directly impact customer satisfaction and the company’s overall reputation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle telephone reservations and ticket sales efficiently.
- Assist walk-in clients with their bookings and provide tickets as needed.
- Offer flight schedules and timely updates on any schedule changes.
- Ensure precise booking details, including passenger names, dates, and special requests.
- Collaborate with operations to manage last-minute changes to flight manifests.
- Respond to email inquiries regarding reservations and customer concerns.
- Provide guidance on fares, promotions, hotel bookings, and required travel documentation for cross-border journeys.
- Process payments for tickets, parcels, excess baggage, and other services.
Desired Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: A degree in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 1–2 years in the airline reservations, travel, or hospitality industry.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with airline reservation systems such as Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo, along with proficiency in MS Office.
- Customer Service: Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal abilities.
- Attention to Detail: Strong accuracy in data entry and handling of reservations.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
