Prosecutors claim Diddy used threats and force against employees in sex trafficking operation.

New Allegations Against Sean 'Diddy' Combs: Forced Labor and Sex Acts
March 7, 2025
US prosecutors have unveiled a new indictment against Sean "Diddy" Combs, accusing the renowned hip-hop mogul of forcing employees to work extensive hours under duress and coercing them to participate in his alleged two-decade-long sex trafficking operation.
Combs, 55, is scheduled to face a federal trial in Manhattan on May 5, where he will confront charges related to racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and the transportation of individuals for prostitution. He has consistently denied all charges, pleading not guilty.
His attorney, Marc Agnifilo, responded to the allegations, emphasizing, "Mr. Combs has stated repeatedly that he vehemently denies these accusations. He looks forward to his day in court when it will be made clear that he has never forced anyone to engage in sexual acts against their will."
This latest indictment brings no new charges but provides further details about the "forced labor" Combs allegedly imposed on certain employees as part of the larger racketeering conspiracy. The indictment accuses Combs and his associates of exploiting employees, subjecting them to long working hours with minimal rest. The tactics used to maintain control included threats of physical harm, financial repercussions, psychological intimidation, and reputational damage.
Prosecutors claim that through these methods, Combs, with the assistance of his associates, coerced employees into believing they could lose their jobs or face further harm if they did not comply with his demands. One unnamed individual is reported to have been coerced into engaging in sex acts with Combs.
In a communication to US District Judge Arun Subramanian, the prosecutors indicated that they plan to provide additional information to Combs' defense team by March 10. They have requested that Combs be arraigned on the new indictment on March 14.
Agnifilo, Combs' attorney, contended that many of Combs’ former employees remain loyal to him and are prepared to testify about the positive experiences they had working with him in building successful and innovative businesses.
The alleged sex trafficking operation, which prosecutors claim ran from 2004 to 2024, remains at the center of these legal challenges. Many of the civil lawsuits filed against Combs, which allege sexual assault and misconduct, were brought under a 2022 New York City law that temporarily allowed victims of gender-based violence to file lawsuits even if the statute of limitations had expired. The window to file such claims closed at the end of February.
Combs is currently in custody at a Brooklyn jail awaiting his trial.
