Rightway Schools, an English medium Nursery and Primary School located in Mbezi Beach along NSSF Road in Dar es Salaam, is currently seeking an experienced Human Resource Manager to join their team. As a key member of the school’s leadership, the HR Manager will play a vital role in establishing and enhancing HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and fostering a positive organizational culture.

Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and improve all aspects of human resources within the school.
• Report directly to the Managing Director and collaborate with the senior leadership team.
• Manage recruitment and selection processes to attract top talent.
• Develop and implement effective onboarding programs for new hires.
• Design and maintain performance management frameworks.
• Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
• HR certifications such as SHRM-CP or PHR are a plus.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR managerial role, ideally within an educational setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in HRIS systems and knowledgeable about Tanzanian Labor laws and safety regulations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• An entrepreneurial mindset and strategic problem-solving skills.
• High ethical standards and discretion in handling sensitive information.
• A passion for reading books is an added bonus.
