It is recommended to wait at least 30 minutes to an hour before drinking water after eating to ensure optimal digestion.
Additionally, it is advisable to refrain from drinking large amounts of water just before bed. Drinking excessive water close to bedtime can lead to frequent awakenings throughout the night to use the bathroom, which may disrupt sleep and cause fatigue the following day.
Lastly, drinking water while standing is another practice to avoid.
