Delta Airlines has announced that it will provide an unconditional financial aid of $30,000 (approximately 77.8 million Tanzanian shillings) to each passenger who survived the recent crash of its flight in Canada. The flight, numbered 4819, was en route from Minneapolis with 80 passengers on board when it crashed and flipped upside down while attempting to land in Toronto on Monday, injuring several people.
According to Delta, 21 passengers were rushed to the hospital following the incident. By Wednesday morning, 20 of them had been released. A company spokesperson emphasized that the $30,000 payments are unconditional and will not affect the passengers' legal rights. Furthermore, the airline's emergency support team continues to assist the passengers, ensuring they receive all necessary help during this challenging time.
