Tanzanian Citizens in UK and Ireland to Obtain NIDA IDs in May
LONDON, March 23, 2025 – In a coordinated effort between the Tanzanian Embassy in the United Kingdom and the National Identification Authority (NIDA), Tanzanian nationals living in the UK and Ireland will have the opportunity to register for their national identification cards this coming May.
The embassy confirmed in an official statement that the registration exercise will be conducted over two days—May 4 and 5, 2025—at the embassy premises located at 3 View Road, Highgate, N6 4DJ, with services running from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on both days.
The initiative targets Tanzanian citizens aged 18 and above, and is designed to facilitate access to essential national services that require a NIDA card. The embassy urged all eligible citizens to make full use of this opportunity by attending in large numbers.
This outreach comes as part of broader efforts by NIDA to streamline the issuance of identification cards and enhance access for Tanzanian citizens abroad.
For additional information, individuals are encouraged to follow official embassy communications.
