Benjamin Sesko Courted by Arsenal and Chelsea Amid RB Leipzig's Struggles

March 4, 2025

Benjamin Sesko’s future at RB Leipzig is uncertain as both Arsenal and Chelsea prepare to make a move for the Slovenian striker in the upcoming summer transfer window.

With Leipzig struggling this season, currently sitting sixth in the Bundesliga, their qualification for next season’s UEFA Champions League is in jeopardy. As a result, Sesko, who has already informed club officials of his intentions, is set to depart if the team fails to secure a place in the prestigious tournament.

Should Leipzig miss out on Champions League qualification, they will likely need to offload several players to adhere to financial regulations, further increasing Sesko's chances of moving.
