Key Responsibilities

As a Sales Manager, your core mission will be to drive revenue growth within your assigned area through the execution of strategic sales plans and superior client servicing. Core duties include:

  • Ensuring thorough and consistent coverage of your assigned client portfolio across all levels, from departmental to executive.

  • Executing all sales objectives and action plans with the goal of meeting or surpassing set performance targets.

  • Establishing pricing parameters, generating quotations, and negotiating rates for both transient and group bookings.

  • Identifying and developing quality sales leads for Rotana within relevant sectors and regions.

  • Monitoring evolving market dynamics, including competitive trends, and reporting insights from direct interactions, calls, and targeted communications.

  • Maintaining detailed records for key accounts while supporting superiors in the upkeep of the account management system.

  • Adhering to established selling strategies during negotiations and actively identifying upselling opportunities.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should hold a degree in Sales or a related field, along with a minimum of two years of post-graduate experience, preferably in the hotel industry. Key qualifications include:

  • Proficiency in computer systems and presentation tools

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)

  • Strong command of professional business communication and client-facing interactions
