"Man Utd Forward Højlund Committed to Old Trafford Future"
"Rasmus Højlund insists he wants to stay at Manchester United, despite challenges in his first season."

Rasmus Højlund’s Desire to Stay at Manchester United Despite Struggles
Rasmus Højlund, the Manchester United forward, is reportedly committed to staying at Old Trafford next season, despite facing significant challenges since his transfer from Atalanta in 2023.
The Danish international was secured by the Red Devils for a substantial €73.9 million after a standout campaign in Serie A. However, Højlund has found it difficult to replicate his previous form in the Premier League. Currently, he has gone 16 matches across all competitions without finding the back of the net, and his two Premier League goals this season rank him joint-90th in the league.
Højlund’s struggles have sparked speculation that he could be on his way out this summer, especially amid Manchester United’s reported interest in acquiring Viktor Gyökeres and Victor Osimhen. The forward’s position has also been threatened by the underwhelming performances of Joshua Zirkzee, who arrived from Bologna last summer.
Despite these rumors, Højlund is reportedly determined to fight for his place in the team. While some links have suggested a surprising move to Leeds United, Ben Jacobs, speaking to GiveMeSport, dismissed these rumors, stating that there is no truth to reports connecting Højlund with a potential transfer to the Premier League rivals. He emphasized that Højlund wants to remain at Manchester United, with the club having no plans to sell him, given the financial implications of such a move.
In his time at Manchester United, Højlund has scored 23 goals in 76 appearances, though only 12 of those have come in the Premier League. If United successfully secures the services of either Gyökeres or Osimhen, Højlund’s starting spot could be at risk. Nevertheless, he still has over three years remaining on his current contract, and his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) remains at €62.6 million, largely bolstered by his age and contract length.
