University of Iringa Announces Multiple Job Vacancies Across Key Departments

Iringa, Tanzania – March 22, 2025
The University of Iringa (UoI), one of Tanzania’s prominent private higher education institutions, has opened applications for several full-time job positions as part of its ongoing institutional development. Operating under the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania (ELCT), Iringa Diocese, the university combines academic rigor with Christian values and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds.

In line with its commitment to educational excellence and operational efficiency, the University is seeking enthusiastic, qualified professionals to join its expanding team across various departments.

Current Open Positions

1. Procurement and Supplies Officer – (1 Vacancy)

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Procurement & Supplies Management, Materials Management, or Logistics Management.

  • Specialization in Procurement and Supplies or an equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

2. Store Keeper – (1 Vacancy)

Required Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Stores, or Commerce.

  • Proficiency in computer applications is essential.

3. Human Resource Officer – (1 Vacancy)

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Human Resources Management or Public Administration.

  • Strong computer skills are required.

  • A minimum of two years of professional experience is an added advantage.

4. Registry Clerk – (2 Vacancies)

Required Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Registry from a recognized academic institution.

  • At least one year of experience in a related role is considered an advantage.
