The generative AI chatbot recorded a staggering 4.7 billion visits in January alone, securing the top position in terms of global usage. This far surpassed the design platform Canva, which came in second with 887 million visits during the same period.

Google Translate ranked third with 595 million visits, while DeepSeek, an AI-powered search engine, garnered 268 million visits. The AI companion tool Character.AI rounded out the top five with 226 million visits.
