Position: Project Electrical Engineer

Location: Dar es Salaam
Project Type: Substation

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop comprehensive electrical substation layouts and technical specifications.

• Perform critical engineering calculations for equipment sizing and evaluating system performance.

• Supervise the construction, installation, and commissioning phases of substation equipment.

• Conduct thorough site assessments and inspections to ensure alignment with engineering standards.

• Address and resolve technical challenges related to substations.

• Work closely with contractors, clients, and internal project teams to ensure smooth execution.

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation for all engineering activities.

• Uphold strict adherence to safety protocols and applicable regulatory standards.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.

• Registered Professional Engineer status.

• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in the electrical engineering field (experience in substation projects is not mandatory).

• Strong grasp of electrical standards, codes, and industry regulations.

• Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently.
