Mkombozi Commercial Bank PLC (MKCB), founded in 2009 as an initiative of the Tanzania Episcopal Conference, continues to play a pivotal role in Tanzania’s banking sector. The Bank is currently inviting qualified candidates to apply for the role of Physical Security Officer at its Head Office.

Position: Physical Security Officer

Location: Head Office
Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Law, or a closely related field.

Experience Required:

A minimum of three years’ experience in physical security operations within a bank or financial institution, a security services company, or law enforcement agency is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities & Required Competencies:

  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Possess in-depth knowledge of physical security protocols and best practices.

  • Exhibit proficient computer literacy.

  • Display effective leadership abilities and team coordination.

  • Maintain a high level of integrity, honesty, and ethical conduct.

  • Show a strong orientation toward customer service, with the capacity to manage security-related concerns effectively.

  • Identify, assess, and document physical security risks, implement mitigation plans, monitor outcomes, and escalate significant issues per established procedures.
