In its latest weather advisory, TMA cautioned that the anticipated downpours may lead to flooding, with some residential areas potentially becoming surrounded by water. Citizens have been urged to take necessary precautions to safeguard lives and property.
Day One – Thursday, March 27, 2025:
Regions expected to be affected by heavy rain today include Mara, Kagera, Geita, Simiyu, Mwanza, Shinyanga, Arusha, Kilimanjaro, Manyara, Singida, Dodoma, Kigoma, Tabora, and Katavi.
Day Two – Friday, March 28, 2025:
The forecast for tomorrow highlights continued rainfall in the regions of Mara, Geita, Simiyu, Mwanza, Shinyanga, Arusha, Kilimanjaro, and Manyara.
Day Three – Saturday, March 29, 2025:
On Saturday, the heavy rainfall is projected to impact Mara, Kagera, Geita, Simiyu, Mwanza, Shinyanga, Arusha, Kilimanjaro, Manyara, Singida, Dodoma, and Tabora.
Additionally, other parts of the country—including Tanga, Dar es Salaam, Morogoro, Pwani, Lindi, Mtwara, as well as the islands of Unguja and Pemba—may also experience significant rainfall during this period.
