Job Purpose

• The Assistant Manager, Insurance is responsible for managing and overseeing the delivery of exceptional customer support services for insurance products offerings. This role ensures that service excellence is maintained across all customer interactions while driving operational efficiency, client satisfaction, and alignment with the insurance business objectives.
• The role also includes leading a team of 20-30 agents, ensuring their performance meets the needs of customers, and contributing to the success of customer experience initiatives tailored to these specialized segments.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership and Performance Management

• Supervise and manage a team of 20-30 agents, ensuring they meet individual and team performance targets.
• Conduct regular one-on-one coaching sessions, team meetings, and performance reviews to provide feedback and guidance.
• Motivate and inspire agents to deliver excellent customer service and meet or exceed KPIs.

Operational Oversight

• Monitor real-time team performance, call handling and queue management to optimize resource allocation & service levels.
• Address escalations and complex customer issues, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution.
• Ensure adherence to OSH, insurance & contact centre policies, processes, regulatory and compliance requirements.

Training and Development

• Identify training needs within the team and collaborate with the CX Knowledge Management Team and the Agency & Merchants Team to enhance skills, product knowledge, and customer service capabilities.
• Onboard and mentor new agents, ensuring a smooth transition into the team and alignment with service expectations.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Service Excellence for Specialized Segments
• Ensure seamless delivery of support for the bank’s insurance products, including claims inquiries, and general insurance-related assistance.

Reporting and Insights

• Track and analyse team performance metrics, providing regular reports.
• Use insights from performance data and customer feedback to recommend and implement improvements.
• Participate in daily or weekly briefings to communicate updates, share performance results, and align team objectives with departmental goals.

Compliance and Risk Management

• Ensure that all team activities comply with regulatory, risk, and operational standards.
• Monitor for potential risks in customer interactions and implement corrective measures where necessary.

Senior Manager Security Technology Roadmap & COE

Purpose of the Role:

The Senior Manager: Advanced Cyber Security & Emerging Technologies is responsible for strengthening Equity Group’s cyber resilience by leading the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of advanced security capabilities across the Group. Operating within the Group Cyber Security Team, the role ensures that emerging technologies and modern security architectures are evaluated, adopted, and governed in alignment with the Group’s strategic objectives, regulatory requirements, and risk appetite. The position provides subject matter expertise on advanced cyber security controls, drives innovation in security architecture, and safeguards the Group’s digital platforms, including banking, FinTech, and digital channels—across all subsidiaries and jurisdictions. By proactively addressing evolving threats and leveraging modern security frameworks.

Job Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:

•  Lead the measurement of effectiveness for advanced cyber security and emerging technology controls, ensuring continuous improvement and addressing areas of low performance. 
•  Enhance and optimize security reporting mechanisms to demonstrate the business value and risk reduction benefits of advanced cyber initiatives. 
• Oversee the security posture of IT infrastructure in international and regional operations, ensuring global alignment with Group security standards. 
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry frameworks, and regulations (e.g., NIST, ISO27001/22301, GDPR, PCI-DSS).

•  Contribute to the enterprise security technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with business strategy, risk appetite, and digital transformation objectives. 
•  Oversee the implementation and effectiveness of advanced security controls (threat detection, data protection, cloud security, and endpoint resilience).
•  Guide the deployment of new infrastructure security capabilities through a structured governance and risk framework.
•  Partner with business units, IT leadership, and information security officers to coordinate security programs across all platforms and subsidiaries.
•  Act as an advisor to senior executives and business leaders on cyber risks, investments, and technology adoption.

Qualifications

Qualification / Certifications:

•  A Degree in Information Technology, Cyber Security, Network Security, Enterprise Network Management, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• Relevant industry certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, CISA, CCISO, SABSA, ISO27001/22301 Lead Implementer; PMP or equivalent project/program certification will be an added advantage

Experience:

• Minimum of 10 years’ progressive experience in information and cyber security, with at least 5 years in a senior management role. 
• Proven experience in engineering and designing enterprisescale IT security solutions.
• Demonstrated experience in managing technology security risk and aligning controls to business objectives.
• Strong understanding of all information security domains, with depth in advanced technologies (e.g., cloud security, AI/ML, Zero Trust, IoT).

Cloud Security Assurance Analyst

Job Purpose:

The Cloud Security Assurance Analyst will be responsible for providing oversight, assurance, and governance of the bank’s cloud security architecture. This role focuses on reviewing, validating, and assuring that security designs, controls, and implementations within Equity’s cloud environments meet regulatory requirements, industry best practices, and the bank’s internal security standards.

Key emphasis will be on evaluating proposed solutions, identifying risks, recommending improvements, and providing independent assurance that cloud deployments and services safeguard the bank’s assets and customer data.

The Cloud Security Assurance Analyst will work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure the cloud infrastructure and applications are secure, compliant, and resilient against modern threats.

Cloud Governance and Technical Assurance:

• Provide governance and technical assurance over the security architecture of cloud platforms (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Azure, Huawei Cloud Platform), ensuring that proposed and implemented designs align with the enterprise security strategy, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
• Provide assurance and oversight on the definition and effectiveness of security controls for cloud services—including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, key management, data protection, and network security—ensuring they are properly designed, implemented, and aligned with enterprise security policies and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee and provide assurance on the establishment and maintenance of cloud security policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring they drive compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS, HIPAA) and align with recognized security best practices.
• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify security risks in the cloud infrastructure. Provide recommendations for risk mitigation and security improvements.

• Provide cloud security guidance and best practices to technical teams and ensure that secure coding, deployment, and management practices are followed.
• Advise on the security implications of migrating on-premises workloads to the cloud. Provide security guidance for hybrid and multi-cloud environments, ensuring consistency in security controls.
• Maintain documentation for cloud security architectures, configurations, and processes. Produce regular reports on cloud security posture and recommend actions for improvements.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Experience

• Education: A Degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field (Masters’ degree, an added advantage). 
• Experience: Minimum of 4-6 years of hands-on experience in information security, with at least 2+ years focused on cloud security. 
• Proven experience designing and securing cloud-native services such as containers (Docker, Kubernetes), serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions), and microservices. 
•  Familiarity with cloud security frameworks and guidelines (e.g., Cloud Well-Architected Framework, CIS Benchmarks, Cloud Security Alliance Cloud Control Matrix). · 
• Experience with cloud-native security tools and services. 
•  Expertise in deploying and managing secure network architectures in cloud environments (Azure, HCP, OCI).

SRE Engineer

The Role Purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ELK SRE Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of our Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana (ELK) stack, ensuring its reliability, scalability, and performance. You will play a crucial part in providing robust logging, monitoring, and analytics solutions that are critical to our operational insights and incident response. 

Responsibilities: 

ELK Stack Management: 

• Design, deploy, configure, and manage large-scale ELK clusters (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats). 
• Ensure the high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery of ELK environments. 
• Monitor ELK cluster health, performance, and resource utilization, proactively identifying and resolving issues. 
• Perform regular upgrades and patching of ELK components. 
• Manage Elasticsearch indices, shards, mappings, and lifecycle policies.

Job Purpose:   

The Platform and Infrastructure Security Architect is primary responsibility will be to design measures to protect the corporate data from leakage. Provide requirements for implementing strategic direction and business requirements on data loss protection. 

The Platform and Infrastructure Security Architect will ensure data loss protection design is well coordinated to achieve  full data protection on systems, network, infrastructure, and cloud, remote workers, contractors and vendors.
