LC Waikiki

LC Waikiki, the Turkish fashion retailer, has established a notable presence in Uganda with two store locations in Kampala:

1. Acacia Mall: Located on the first floor of Acacia Mall in the Kisementi area, this flagship store opened on December 21, 2020. The launch event featured a fashion show with Ugandan model Judith Heard and was attended by Turkey’s ambassador to Uganda, Kerem Alp . The store operates daily from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM .

2. Arena Mall: Situated on the upper ground floor (UG5) of Arena Mall on Mukwano Road in Nsambya, this store offers a wide selection of fashion items for men, women, and children .

LC Waikiki is renowned for providing affordable, stylish clothing across various categories, including casual wear, formal attire, and children’s apparel. The brand’s mission, “Everyone Deserves to Dress Well,” reflects its commitment to making fashion accessible to all.

Since its inception in Paris in 1988 and subsequent acquisition by Turkish company Tema Tekstil in 1997, LC Waikiki has expanded globally. As of 2023, the company operates over 1,200 stores in more than 47 countries and employs approximately 54,000 people .

In Uganda, LC Waikiki continues to engage customers with seasonal collections and promotional events. For instance, in November 2024, the brand launched a new seasonal collection at the Acacia Mall store, showcasing its latest fashion offerings
