Encomium 2020

Encomium 2020 is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering sustainable community development and enhancing overall well-being. Established in 2019 as a Community-Based Organization in Pakwach District, Uganda, it has since expanded its operations nationwide. The organization’s mission focuses on promoting resilience and improving living standards by addressing key areas such as health, education, water and sanitation, and agriculture.

Mission and Approach

Encomium 2020 aims to empower communities by:

• Collaborating with local leaders: Working closely with community leaders to ensure that development initiatives are tailored to the specific needs of each community

• Implementing comprehensive strategies: Moving beyond temporary solutions to establish long-term programs that address the root causes of poverty and underdevelopment.

• Focusing on essential services: Prioritizing access to nutrition, clean water, healthcare, and education to lay the foundation for sustainable growth.
