Job Summary:

The Office Assistant is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization within the office environment, ensuring a comfortable and hygienic workspace for employees and visitors. Additionally, the role involves handling key facility services, including managing office supplies, minor maintenance tasks, and providing hospitality services, such as serving refreshments to staff and guests.

Job Responsibilities:

Cleaning & Hygiene:

    • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting workspaces.
    • Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchen areas, and common spaces.
    • Empty trash bins and ensure proper waste disposal.
    • Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and tissues.
    • Maintain a schedule for deep cleaning activities (e.g., floor cleaning, cup washing, facility cleaning).

Facility & Office Support Services:

  • Assist with opening and closing the office, ensuring security and cleanliness.
  • Organize and restock office supplies, ensuring adequate inventory.
  • Ensure meeting rooms are clean, organized, and set up as needed.
  • Assist with office moves, furniture arrangement, and event setups.

Hospitality Services (Tea & Refreshments):

  • Prepare and serve tea, coffee, and other refreshments to employees and visitors as required.
  • Ensure kitchen and pantry areas remain clean, organized, and well-stocked.
  • Manage inventory of kitchen supplies, including beverages, snacks, and utensils.
  • Assist in setting up refreshments for meetings, conferences, and office events.

Job Qualifications & Skills:

    • Previous experience in office cleaning, facility management, or hospitality services is an advantage.
    • Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment.
    • Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
    • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Basic understanding of office operations and security protocols.

Job Work Conditions:

  • May require early morning or late evening shifts.
  • Physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
