DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUIREMENT:
The World Food Programme Uganda Country office is inviting competent and financially stable business entities to provide primary inland road transport services for moving food and non-food cargo from locations in Uganda to destinations within the country – (Inland Primary and Secondary Road transport). The estimated annual cargo volume is 50,000 metric tons.
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Interested transport companies MUST possess a minimum available capacity of 160 metric tons for primary transport and 100 metric tons for secondary transport. The fleet should be comprised of own trucks as evidenced from motor vehicle logbooks duly registered with Uganda number plates. Required truck capacities from 5 to 32 metric tons.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION TO SUBMIT WITH THE EOI:
To be deemed eligible for the pre-qualification process, firms are required to submit all the supporting documents within the EOI via email: kampala.logisticscontracting@wfp.org. The detailed information of the EOI is to be provided together with the WFP Logistics Service Questionnaire upon request via email: kampala.logisticscontracting@wfp.org
