
Online Radio Intern (2) at Raising Gabdho Foundation Limited
Job Description
RGF is revamping its online radio to become a lively platform for learning, engagement, and storytelling. We are looking for two enthusiastic, creative, and community- oriented interns to support this process. This is a non-paid, learning-focused placement ideal for students or early-career individuals seeking experience in community media.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support the development and scheduling of engaging weekly radio shows.
- Assist with scripting, recording, and editing pre-recorded segments.
- Coordinate guest interviews and contribute to show planning.
- Help manage basic technical setup for live or recorded broadcasts (training will be provided).
- Promote radio content across RGF’s digital platforms.
- Gather listener feedback and support content improvement.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Recent graduate/awaiting graduation in journalism, media, communications, or a related field.
- Interest in community radio, podcasting, or digital storytelling.
- Good communication and writing skills.
- Self-motivated, curious, and able to work both independently and in a team.
- Basic audio editing skills are an advantage but not required.
