Sanitary Engineer
Location: Addis Ababa

Experience Required: Minimum 5 Years in a Consulting Role

At-Con Engineering & Architecture Consultancy Plc., a well-established and reputable consulting company based in Addis Ababa, is engaged in the design and supervision of civil engineering works, including roads, bridges, buildings, water supply systems, and other infrastructure projects. We are currently looking to hire One (1) qualified and experienced Sanitary Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing sanitation systems including water supply, sewerage networks, wastewater treatment plants, and storm water drainage systems.
• Prepare technical documents, specifications and bill of quantities
• Conduct material inspections and material approvals.
• Conducting feasibility studies and preparing environmental impact assessments.
• Collaborating with clients to develop tailored sanitation solutions.
• Preparing technical specifications, design documents, and tender packages.
• Ensuring project designs comply with relevant national and international standards.
• Reviewing contractor submissions and conducting site inspections to maintain quality assurance.
• Drafting clear and comprehensive technical reports and presentations.
• Coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver integrated infrastructure solutions.
• Recommending sustainable, cost-effective sanitation technologies and practices.

About You

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Sanitary, Civil, or Environmental Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sanitation engineering or related fields.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and sanitation standards.
• Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills.
• Proficiency in relevant design and analysis software tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
