Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the monthly management information through consolidating and reviewing the information from the local business along with an onward submission to Group.
- Lead the quarterly reporting of key financial metrics including IFRS, Embedded Value, etc.
- Lead the process for the reporting of sustainability metrics for Group consolidation.
- Lead the preparation and review of the Monthly MI dashboard and share with the regional executive committee and LBU CEO/CFO.
- Provide guidance and support to local business units on Group policies for reporting (e.g., IFRS accounting policy, etc.).
- Independent review and sense check on the submissions from LBUs through discussions with relevant LBU counterparts (if relevant) before sharing with regional and Group stakeholders.
- Review of IFRS and other financial/non-financial metrics for all local business units
- Support/assist on the Business plan submissions.
- Acts as custodian for all financial/non-financial reporting (including approved Business plan).
- Lead the transformation and process improvement initiatives for the MI and reporting
EXPERIENCE
- At least 8+ years experience in finance or actuarial roles within the insurance industry.
- Proficient in management and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with diverse teams and communicate with confidence to influence those around you.
