Job Description

We are a honey company, based in Lusaka, seeking a competent and highly organized
Operations Supervisor to oversee daily operations, streamline processes, and ensure
efficiency across production, field operations, and distribution.
The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast
paced environment, with strong Excel skills to manage data analysis and reporting.
Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise day-to-day operations, including field operations, production, packaging,
    warehousing, and logistics.
  • Oversee scheduling and delegation of tasks.
  • Record keeping, creation and maintenance of operational reports
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory bodies.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to meet production targets and customer
    delivery deadlines.
  • Train, mentor, and support operational staff to encourage skill development and
    teamwork.

Desired Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain,
    or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, food production,
    field operations (overseeing operations in rural areas across Zambia), or related
    operations environment.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities
  • Knowledge of food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP) is preferred.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
