ABYS Trading PLC is the leading Manufacturing Company of Ethiopia which manufactures agriculture products both for local and international markets. It has been active since 2011 and exported over 40 high quality value added agricultural products which meet world relevant standards to three main destination countries such as America, Canada and Australia and other locations. Moreover, it has distributed such products to local market. Nowadays, in line with government trade, marketing and development strategies, it strives to produce world class products of having high demand. This effort has allowed it to generate foreign currency and create job opportunity for 400 Ethiopian youths. Now it is seeking a qualified Salesman, who is going to be a game changer in the sales and marketing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and direct customers
• Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services)
• Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services
• Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing
• Cross-sell products
• Ensure racks are fully stocked
• Manage returns of merchandise
• Coordinate with the Retail Sales Representatives team to provide excellent customer service (especially during peak times)
• Inform customers about discounts and special offers
• Provide customer feedback to the concerned
• Stay up-to-date with new products/services

About You

• High School Graduate
• Six month sales/cashier experience
• Knowledge of sales techniques and customer service principles.
• Understanding of the retail sales process
• Familiarity with consumer behavior principles
• Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
• Basic mathematics knowledge
• Track record of achieving sales quotas
• Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
• Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
• Flexibility to work various shifts
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing business needs.
