Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the camp, ensuring smooth running of all departments.
- Deliver excellent guest experiences through personalized hosting, client relations, and activity facilitation.
- Lead, motivate, and manage staff to maintain high standards of service, professionalism, and teamwork.
- Manage financial processes including budgets, petty cash, stock control, and monthly reporting.
- Ensure health, safety, and security of guests, staff, property, and equipment at all times.
- Oversee repairs, maintenance, hygiene, and overall upkeep of the camp facilities.
- Foster positive relationships with local communities, conservancies, and external stakeholders.
- Implement training, staff development, and adherence to company procedures, policies, and sustainability standards.
Key Qualifications
- Proven experience in camp, lodge, or hospitality management.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and people management skills.
- Excellent guest relations, hosting, and communication abilities.
- Financial management skills, including budgeting and reporting.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and risk management procedures.
- Hands-on approach to operations, problem-solving, and service delivery.
- Ability to work in remote environments with flexibility and resilience.
