Agricultural Trading Company Limited (ATC), a subsidiary company of AHL Group Plc, is inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Cashier as follows:

Position function

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Accountant and responsible for supporting and providing accurate financial reports and timely recording of payments and receipts.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The main duties and responsibilities of the Cashier will include the following:

1. Preparing and issuing of cheques, cash and receipts;
2. Processing cheque payments into SAGE;
3. Maintaining cash and cheque registers;
4. Facilitation of all audits;
5. Posting of receipts against customer accounts;
6. Assisting in debt collection;
7. Adhering to cash management policies and procedures.

Qualifications and Attributes

1. Certificate in Financial Accounting
2. Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE)
3. At least 3 years’ working experience in a busy office environment
