Great Lakes Collection is hiring an experienced and highly motivated Lodge Manager to oversee the daily operations of our upcountry safari lodge. The ideal candidate will ensure exceptional guest experiences, effective team leadership, and operational excellence across all departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the lodge, including guest services, housekeeping, F&B, and maintenance
- Manage and mentor department heads
- Ensure guest satisfaction and handle complaints professionally
- Maintain budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure profitability
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
- Qualifications:
- At least 8 years of experience in lodge management
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- A passion for hospitality and sustainable tourism
- Knowledge of reservations systems and basic accounting
- Willingness to live and work in a remote location
