  1. PRIMARY FUNCTION

Responsible for following quality compliance with structure & rotating equipment installation, pre-commissioning, and commissioning phases.

  1. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Participate in the writing of Verification & Control Activity Report (VCAR), defining Scope of work & budget for structure & rotating equipment audit.
  • If needed, carry out inspection of installation & commissioning activities as per approved procedure.
  • Understanding of pressure vessel / casting design, bearing design, stress and deflection analysis, lubrication systems, seals, rotor dynamics and vibration analysis
  • or shutdowns and Turnarounds start-up.
  • Assists in reviewing documentation on equipment procurement inquiries.
  • Certification team technical support – familiarity with risk assessments, design reviews, constructability, HAZOP
  • Inspection and construction support as necessary
  • Technical support for installation and commissioning on rotating equipment
  • Ensure proper safeguards are established and maintenance performed for all equipment required for purposes of testing and testing support.
  1. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMNTS
EDUCATIONBachelor’s degree in engineering or engineering technology.
MAJORFulfil QA / HSE aspects, with acceptable team-works
EXPERIENCEMinimum of 7 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering & designAt least 3 similar experiences working in international projects
KNOWLEDGEUnderstanding of pressure vessel / casting design, bearing design, stress and deflection analysis, lubrication systems, seals, rotor dynamics and vibration analysisMinimum Certificate of Registered Supervision Engineer or equivalentExtensive knowledge of construction, installation, and commissioning.Extensive knowledge of safety in the oil and gas industry.
CAPABILITYUnderstanding of development/implementation of all predictive maintenance and manage changes to the types of monitoring, routes, frequency, and equipment monitored.Have similar working experience in international projects.Ability to review and analyze report compliance with approved procedure requirement.Good health is required.
OTHERGood at using micro-office software and CAD software.Knowledge of different balancing methodsFamiliarity with balance gradesUnderstanding of critical speedsIn depth knowledge of different types of shaft couplers and shaft connection methodsConduct technical audits on Projects.Conduct Performance Reviews of EngineersStrong executive ability, clear working ideas, strong communication skills, team spirit, good interpersonal skills.
