About Company
The USAID Long-Term Exceptional Technical Assistance Project (LEAP Global) is a five-year initiative funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). It is designed to strengthen national infectious disease programs in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) by embedding high-level technical expertise directly within country systems. The overarching objective of LEAP Global is to enable the development of efficient, resilient, and sustainable public health infrastructure capable of responding effectively to endemic and emerging infectious disease threats.
Administered by implementing partners such as Dexis Consulting Group and Genesis Analytics, LEAP Global deploys seasoned professionals in areas such as malaria, tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, neglected tropical diseases, and One Health approaches. These experts provide strategic and operational guidance, capacity building, and policy development support to national disease control programs, ministries of health, and related institutions.
A key feature of LEAP Global is its focus on technical assistance continuity, allowing for long-term partnerships and institutional knowledge transfer. This model contrasts with more transient technical assistance approaches and is intended to promote country ownership, ensure sustainability of health outcomes, and align with USAID’s Global Health Security Agenda (GHSA) objectives.
The LEAP Global Hub, accessible via www.leap-global.org, serves as a central resource for stakeholders to explore the program’s methodology, access professional development tools, and view open positions within the project.
