About Company

The Ntungamo District Service Commission (DSC) is a statutory body within the Ntungamo District Local Government in Western Uganda. It is responsible for managing human resource functions for civil servants at the district level, including recruitment, confirmation, promotion, and disciplinary control. These responsibilities are guided by the Constitution of Uganda, the Local Governments Act, and the Public Service Act.

Leadership and Composition

As of September 2024, the Ntungamo District Council appointed new members to the DSC:Chairperson: Alex Twebuze, formerly the Rubaare Sub-county Chairperson

  • Member Representing Urban Councils: Eva Kagimba, a retired teacher

  • Other members include Rev. Can Joash Tushangomujuni, Eng. Kam Tobias Rugumire Karekaho, and Mary Beinamaryo Wagaga.

These appointments followed the completion of terms by previous members Hilda Rwamashongye and Constance Nayebare Gumisiriza.
