Nkumba University

Nkumba University is a chartered private, non-profit, and non-denominational institution located in Entebbe, Uganda. Established in 1994 and granted a charter by the Government of Uganda in 2006, it stands as one of the largest private universities in East Africa. The university is dedicated to fostering competence, creativity, confidence, and character among its students, aiming to prepare them for both national and global challenges.

📍 Location

Nkumba University is situated approximately 27 kilometers along the Kampala–Entebbe Highway, about a 10-minute drive from Entebbe International Airport. The main campus is located in Nkumba, a suburb in Wakiso District, Central Uganda.

• Health Unit: A well-stocked facility for students and staff, with referral hospitals including Entebbe Hospital and Mulago Hospital in Kampala.

• Library: A seven-story main library under construction, featuring a modern IT Training Suite and a dedicated Law Library.
