Asante Africa Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering youth through education and leadership development across East Africa. Since 2018, their Uganda office has been actively implementing programs that equip young people with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive both academically and within their communities.

🌍 Programs in Uganda

Asante Africa Foundation’s initiatives in Uganda focus on:

• Youth Livelihood Program: Providing vocational training and entrepreneurship skills.

• Wezesha Vijana Program: Empowering youth through leadership and life skills development.

• Accelerated Learning Program: Offering alternative education pathways for out-of-school youth.

• Scholarships: Supporting students to access and complete their education.

These programs have collectively impacted over 71,000 lives in Uganda since their inception, with 4,715 individuals directly benefiting in 2023 alone, across 92 schools and communities.

🤝 Partnerships and Collaborations

The foundation collaborates with local governments, NGOs, and community organizations to amplify its impact. Notably, in partnership with Prince’s Trust International, they launched the Enterprise Challenge program in Uganda, fostering entrepreneurship among secondary school students.
