About FHI 360
FHI 360 (formerly Family Health International) is a nonprofit human development organization. It operates in over 60 countries, addressing health, education, nutrition, economic development, civil society, gender, youth, and research. In East and Southern Africa, its regional office supports governments and communities in delivering integrated health and social services.

History & Presence
Began operations in Kenya in the mid-1980s, initially supporting family planning programs.
Later expanded to HIV/AIDS, reproductive health, and service delivery support.
The Kenya office is located in Nairobi.

Health / HIV, AIDS & Infectious Diseases Strengthening HIV prevention, care, and treatment; supporting TB and malaria services; integrating noncommunicable disease programs with HIV services.
Nutrition & HIV Integration Through the Kenya Nutrition and HIV Program (NHP) and Nutrition and Health Program Plus (NHPplus), FHI 360 has supported nutritional therapy for people living with HIV and TB, trained providers, supplied therapeutic foods, and implemented community nutrition interventions.
Key Populations & HIV Linkages The LINKAGES Kenya project expanded HIV prevention, care, and treatment services for sex workers, men who have sex with men, and people who inject drugs.
Education & ICT in Schools Partnering with government and local groups to improve girls’ education, teacher training, and integration of ICT in teaching.
Policy & Capacity Strengthening Supporting policy development and building the capacity of government and civil society organizations.
Partnerships & Local Entities
Gold Star Kenya, an allied organization, works on HIV, maternal health, child health, family planning, TB, malaria, and noncommunicable diseases.
Collaborates closely with Kenyan government agencies, civil society, and private sector partners.

Supported national monitoring systems and tools now used in Kenya’s health programs.
