Nile Breweries Limited (NBL) is Uganda’s leading beer manufacturer, established in 1951. It operates as a subsidiary of AB InBev, one of the world’s largest brewing companies. NBL's headquarters and main brewery are located in Njeru, Buikwe District, near Jinja, with an additional brewery in Mbarara, Western Uganda. The company boasts a production capacity of approximately 2.45 million hectolitres annually and holds a significant market share in Uganda's beer industry .
