Kazo District was officially established in July 2019, following public demand and an act of Parliament. It was carved out of Kiruhura District to bring government services closer to the people.


Location & Borders:
Located in the South Western region of Uganda, Kazo District is part of the Masaka-Ankole cattle corridor. It shares borders with:





  • Kyegegwa District (North)




  • Ibanda District (West)




  • Kiruhura District (East & South)




  • Kamwenge District (North-West)




  • Sembabule District (North-East)
