BRAC Uganda is a branch of BRAC International, a global development organization originating from Bangladesh. Since its inception in Uganda in 2006, BRAC has expanded to serve all 134 districts, making it the largest BRAC operation outside of Bangladesh. Its mission focuses on empowering communities—especially women, youth, and refugees—through programs in education, health, financial inclusion, agriculture, and youth empowerment .
