The Africa Medical and Behavioral Sciences Organization (AMBSO) is a Ugandan non-profit research and service organization established in 2016 by a group of Ugandan epidemiologists. AMBSO is dedicated to improving public health through innovative biomedical research, training, and service delivery, with a particular focus on HIV prevention and other infectious and non-communicable diseases. The organization operates in various districts, including Wakiso, Hoima, and Masaka, and collaborates with institutions such as Makerere University and Karolinska Institutet.
