ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Talent Acquisition Associate, you will play a key role in driving ALU’s talent acquisition and employer branding initiatives within the People and Culture Team. Your responsibilities will include owning a seamless and efficient hiring process, contributing to efforts to attract, engage, and retain top talent and enhancing our employer brand. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition this role is responsible for supporting the end-to-end Talent Acquisition process, from sourcing to onboarding.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Candidate Sourcing and Pipeline Building
- Use advanced tools (e.g., AI-driven platforms, LinkedIn Recruiter, Greenhouse and niche job boards) to identify and engage top talent.
- Maintain a proactive talent pipeline for critical and recurring roles, ensuring the organization is prepared for future hiring needs .
Candidate Experience Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process, ensuring a seamless and positive experience.
- Collect and act on candidate feedback to continuously improve the recruitment journey.
 Data-Driven Recruitment

- Leverage on Greenhouse recruitment analytics to measure the effectiveness of hiring strategies, such as time-to-hire, quality-of-hire, and source-of-hire.
- Present data insights to the Talent Acquisition team and stakeholders to inform decision-making and improve hiring practices.
Collaboration with Stakeholders
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, define job descriptions, and set expectations for the recruitment process.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, such as People & Culture and marketing teams, to align hiring efforts with the ALU’s employer branding and diversity goals.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all young persons and vulnerable adults with whom we deal,  by adhering to ALU’s comprehensive safeguarding policy, maintaining a zero-tolerance approach to any violations of safeguarding standards.Â
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a  field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, HR, or a related role, preferably within a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (Greenhouse), Google Suite & experience with LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on providing a positive candidate experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with candidates and internal teams.
