The IRC Uganda program invites applications from interested Companies for Renovation of Five (5) Guest Rooms in Bid! Bid! Base camp Yumbe.

Interested and suitably qualified suppliers may download the RFP documents with the required tender information and Specifications from the IRC Website: http://www.rescue.org/ about/procurement or request complete tender information from the Supply Chain Department offices in Kampala Plot 7, Lower Naguru East Road during office hours 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM from 29th May 2025 to 16th June 2025.

Bidders shall submit physical – sealed bids and sign the bid register for confirmation.
Bids shall be addressed to the PROCUREMENT COMMITTEE, clearly marked with the tender reference number, at International Rescue Committee Plot 7, Lower Naguru East Road – Kampala latest 5:00 PM (East African Standard Time) on 16th June 2025.

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is committed to providing life-saving assistance and long-term solutions for refugees and displaced communities in Uganda. The renovation of the five (5) guest rooms in Bid! Bid! Base camp Yumbe is part of IRC’s efforts to improve living conditions and infrastructure for staff and beneficiaries in the region. The project aims to ensure safe, comfortable, and functional accommodations for guests and personnel supporting IRC’s humanitarian operations.

Scope of Work Includes:

• • Structural repairs and reinforcement of the guest rooms.
  • Plumbing and electrical system upgrades.
  • Installation of new fixtures, fittings, and furnishings.
  • Painting and finishing work to meet IRC’s standards.
  • Ensuring compliance with local building codes and safety regulations.

The successful bidder will be expected to adhere to IRC’s policies on quality, timeliness, and environmental sustainability. Previous experience in similar projects, especially in humanitarian or NGO settings, will be an added advantage.
